Description

Worked several days on this! I illustrated my character Ida that I use in a roleplay with Champmignon, who's a rare species born from falling comets. I don't want to get into details about the story because it's long but I wanted to try something different then I normally do and this picture I think really hit the spot! I look forward to working with this style some more! Everything is hand drawn using my Wacom tablet so I had to put a lot more extra time into making this piece look good. Thanks for your support and please enjoy!

First off, I think this is great and I love how you're totally stepping out of your comfort zone with this one! I honestly did not think this was yours when I saw it in my feed. But along with that, there are some things that definitely need to be worked on: Her neck and shoulders are really wacked; like her neck is very long and thick for a female and her shoulders are very narrow unless you planned on having them scrunched up, but in that case her shoulders would be much closer to her head. Also, unless she has no nipples, those would definitely be showing with how you cropped the picture on her chest, unless she has really saggy boobs. So maybe crop it higher so there's not a problem with her anatomy. In regards to anatomy, I think you can work on proportions, but that's really the only thing!

Her face is excellent; holy crap my friend she is stunning! I think your color choice is lovely especially how it contrasts with her hair. I think a more blended and softer look would be better instead of this harsh lineless style, but that's a personal opinion, I think the lineless works very well and is consistent with how the rest of your gallery looks. I would like it more if the blue was also used somewhere on the figure rather than just in the comet because it stands out a lot, but one could argue that I'm being extremely nit-picky now.

The biggest thing for you, is work on more figure drawing. Do more gestures and practice the figure and not just technique of a final piece. I'm not saying this is bad at all because I love it so much and I'm so proud of you and where you've come since I first met you, but nobody can cover up an un-proportionate figure with an amazing style. I can't wait to see more artwork you do involving the human figure because you are already getting so good!

Keep up the good work!
